I'm heading to Mexico for Dia de Los Muertos, Day of the Dead, a celebration that unites pre-Columbian cultural practices with Catholic religious ceremony and ritual. My friend Cate and I will travel to Oaxaca in southern Mexico where the traditional celebrations are beautiful and colorful.

Hitting the Streets: traffic of all sorts, Alebrijes (Amazing Sculptures of paper mache), Monuments, lovers, etc
The first image is a sculpture that was my visual cue for my street Rio Sena. The Alebrijes were amazing, some scary, some magical, some just crazy. Wonderful images of people, street performers. There are images of columns that were a breast cancer awareness installation. These images are from my meanderings down Paseo de la Reforma, a major street in Mexico City. The angel monument is the Angel de la Independencia.
